Information we process
We process information provided by schools, staff, students, parents, guardians, website visitors, and support users. This may include names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, school details, student and guardian details, enrollment answers, package selections, lesson schedules, appointment history, lesson notes, permit status, uploaded documents, signed waivers, support messages, audit events, and payment-related records.
We also process technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, page requests, authentication events, security logs, and usage data needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
On public marketing pages, we may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device and browser information, and general engagement. We do not intentionally use marketing analytics to collect student document contents, waiver signatures, payment card data, or private dashboard records.
How information is used
We use information to provide the platform, authenticate users, operate school websites, process enrollments, organize student records, manage schedules, support document and waiver workflows, send transactional notifications, provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and meet legal or payment-processing obligations.
We do not sell student or guardian personal information.
School-controlled content
Schools decide what information to request from students, parents, guardians, staff, and website visitors. Schools are responsible for providing any notices, consents, school-specific privacy terms, record-retention rules, and state-required disclosures that apply to their programs.
If a school collects information from minors, that school is responsible for determining the required parent or guardian consent, form language, and retention rules for its jurisdiction and program type.
Payments
Stripe may process subscription payments for Software for Driving School and, if enabled, student or parent payments through connected school accounts. We do not store full card numbers in the application.
Payment data may be handled by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy, terms, risk controls, and compliance obligations.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, support, email, monitor, analyze, or process payments for the service. These providers are used only as needed to provide and protect the platform.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, payment-network rule, security investigation, fraud prevention need, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the service, schools, students, parents, guardians, or the public.
Security and retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled through the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Schools control many retention decisions for their records. We may retain account, billing, security, audit, support, and backup records for legitimate operational, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and security purposes.
Requests
Schools can update many records from the dashboard. Students, parents, or guardians seeking access, correction, deletion, or copies of school-controlled records should contact the school first because the school controls those records.
