Subscription billing
Subscription price, billing interval, trial end, plan, and any approved discount are displayed at checkout and in billing records. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you authorize Stripe to charge the saved payment method for renewal fees, upgrades, and applicable taxes.
Plan limits and public prices are maintained from the platform billing configuration. A future price change applies prospectively with notice when required and does not authorize a charge different from the amount presented for the applicable billing period.
Trials and payment methods
Eligible accounts may receive a 14-day trial. Billing begins at the displayed trial end unless the subscription is canceled first. We may limit repeated trials or promotional eligibility.
Keep a valid payment method and current billing contact. Failed or disputed subscription charges may result in retries, notices, plan restrictions, suspension, or termination. You are responsible for bank, currency-conversion, and tax charges not imposed by the platform.
Student and parent payments
Student payment collection is separate from platform subscription billing. A connected school sets its program prices, deposits, balances, cancellation and refund terms, taxes, receipts, and customer communications and is responsible for delivering the purchased school service.
Stripe processes connected-account payments and may control onboarding, verification, reserves, holds, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, payout timing, and account restrictions under its own agreements. Software for Driving School stores transaction identifiers and status needed for the school workflow but not full card numbers.
Application and provider fees
Stripe charges processing and other fees under its agreement with the school. If the platform charges a percentage or fixed application fee on eligible connected-account transactions, that fee is shown in applicable pricing or school payment settings and may be deducted through Stripe before the school receives its payout.
Provider and application fees are distinct from school refunds, taxes, chargebacks, and outstanding balances. A refund may not return every processing or dispute fee unless the applicable provider or written terms state otherwise.
Refunds and disputes
Platform subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved in writing. Canceling stops future renewal but does not reverse an already earned billing period.
The school controls refunds and disputes for student services. The platform may assist with software records but does not decide the merits of a school-customer dispute and may act on Stripe webhook events, account restrictions, or legally valid requests.
